Swedish heat pump manufacturer Qvantum first to produce heat pumps in a refrigerator factory

Swedish heat pump manufacturer Qvantum is set to revolutionize the market with the launch of a new line of heat pumps utilizing cutting-edge technology derived from the refrigeration industry. This advancement marks a significant milestone in the company’s journey towards industrialization and mass production.

Qvantum’s innovative approach combines high-volume white goods production techniques with a modular heat pump platform. By leveraging approximately 80% of the production technology used in refrigerator factories, Qvantum aims to streamline production processes and improve efficiency and quality.

The acquisition of Electrolux’s former refrigerator factory provides an ideal foundation for high-volume heat pump production. The factory’s existing infrastructure, combined with Qvantum’s modular design, allows for efficient scaling while maintaining precision and quality.

 – This innovative approach allows us to meet the growing demand for energy-efficient heating solutions while maintaining our commitment to sustainability, said Fredrik Rosenqvist, CEO at Qvantum. We are excited to enter this new phase of production, which will enable us to provide high-quality products to a broader audience.

The launch of this new production technique is expected to set a new standard in the industry, combining the benefits of modular design with cost-effective manufacturing. Qvantum remains dedicated to delivering reliable and environmentally friendly heating solutions that cater to the needs of modern consumers.

With this strategic move, Qvantum is poised to strengthen its position in the market and contribute to a more sustainable future..
