The ground source heat pump of the future
The Qvantum QG is a high-efficiency ground source heat pump delivered as a compact unit with a built-in source-side pump. It is ideally suited for communal ground source heat pump systems, where one QG7 or QG14 unit is installed per property and all dwellings are connected to a shared borehole network. This approach reduces the overall number of boreholes required through diversity, making it a cost-effective solution for multi-property developments.
The QG delivers heating, cooling, and domestic hot water in a single integrated unit, featuring an accumulator tank that acts as a thermal battery with heat storage up to 90°C. With FlexReady® functionality and API connectivity, it optimises energy use by operating during periods of low electricity prices or renewable surplus and is ready for flexible energy markets. Domestic hot water is produced instantly via a heat exchanger, eliminating legionella risk and simplifying water quality requirements.
In the event of service, it is replaced and refurbished at our factory with no need for refrigeration maintenance on site. Typical applications include social housing retrofits and new build shared ground loop networks, as well as ground source projects for individual homes.

QG-C water-to-water apartment heat
pump
The QG-C is a compact system with a built-in sourceside pump (PiCV) that provides heating, cooling and domestic hot water. It is ideally suited for ambient loop applications, where one unit is installed per property and all properties are connected to a shared loop. This approach enables a decentralised system architecture typically used in new build apartment developments and 5th generation heat networks, offering a lower-cost alternative to shared boreholes.
The QG-C has a wide operating envelope from -10 °C to 40°C, making it suitable for a wide range of energy sources. With a 10° delta T, the QG-C also allows smaller pipe work and lower pump energy use.
Smart features
Qvantum’s products are filled with smart features that provide both stability and future-proofing.
Scheduling in the Qantum app, you can actively control how your heat pump works during the week, based on how your home is actually used. Read more here
Always up to date, always smarter. With automatic updates via the cloud, you get new features for free – and a heat pump that evolves over time.
The system intelligently schedules charging to take place during periods of low demand on the electricity grid. By shifting energy use to off-peak times, it helps reduce strain on the grid, lower energy costs, and improve overall efficiency without compromising performance
Qvantum’s built-in accumulator tank can heat the hot water up to about 90°C for extra storage capacity and store when prices are low and use when electricity is expensive. The heat pump is ready for future flex market services.
Safe water – smart technology behind every drop. Our heat pumps heat fresh incoming cold water directly via a heat exchanger in the heat pump, right at the moment you open the tap. The water is always fresh, always moving and always as clean as the cold water.
Always connected security. With remote diagnostics, it is possible to connect remotely to the heat pump, predictive maintenance and service can be done completely remotely.
Modular compressors for operational reliability and easier service
Thanks to lightweight, modular compressor units, the QG is easy to service. On the QG14, the heat pump can continue to deliver heat even if a compressor is taken out of service for service or an unexpected stop. The separate compressor modules can also be used as spare parts, reducing the complexity of service visits, travel time and inventory costs for installers. Thanks to clip connections, each module can be easily removed and carried individually during installation.
